WJCC REDISTRICTING ADVOCACY
We are a group of parents in the Williamsburg James City County School District concerned about the proposed redistricting.
The proposed district maps will:
–Widen economic disparities between schools, creating inequity
–Diminish diversity in schools
–Cluster students with higher-needs in certain schools
–Create uneven teacher workloads
Our goal is to educate, provide sample wording to use in the district survey and letters to the school board, and collect signatures to keep our neighborhood, Kingspoint, at Matthew Whaley.
